One of things that made that...Great blog entry Dad. One of things that made that A's team so good during the season in which they won 20 games in a row was team chemistry. All the players and coaches got along so well and the locker room atmosphere generated a lot of positive energy that seemed to translate at times into wins on the field. So statistics are good and looking at different methods to assess future performance are valuable, but sometimes it just takes a good group of guys that all believe in one another on and off the field.
