When I'm in Hawaii, my wife and I, married over 55 years, are often apart for some time, although she visits often. Yes, if works, it's fine and a marriage is preserved, so much the better.Richard Katzevhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03466537940588392927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8215036862051955994.post-41495421377186772612014-05-23T05:33:44.936-10:002014-05-23T05:33:44.936-10:00Interesting. My mom stays at home and my dad goes fishing at his Baja cabin for weeks at a time from October through May. The only reason he stays home in summer is because there is no electricity at the cabin and it gets way too hot. For a long time I thought it really weird but it's working for them and if they are happy that's what matters. That said I had a harder time understanding how one of our newly married professors where I work could be happy with his high-powered and pregnant attorney wife living in Chicago. But I guess it comes down to the same thing, if it works and they are happy, that's what matters.Stefaniehttp://somanybooksblog.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8215036862051955994.post-49170543217020151732014-05-22T14:09:03.598-10:002014-05-22T14:09:03.598-10:00Hi Judi:
