Get on your bike and head this way. Biking is great aerobics and also very dangerous. The clashes between driver and bikers are daily news events and sadly once in a while a biker is killed.Richard Katzevhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03466537940588392927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8215036862051955994.post-9420280562716119752014-10-19T05:41:56.398-10:002014-10-19T05:41:56.398-10:00Reading your description, I think I would love Por...Reading your description, I think I would love Portland!! Makes me think about excavating my garage to find my bike (I know it's there somewhere), pumping up the tires, and start riding again. I live on the edge of a lake community and bike lanes have been added everywhere.

But there is definitely some friction between bikers and drivers.Lindanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8215036862051955994.post-31598459116084277782014-10-13T10:44:39.091-10:002014-10-13T10:44:39.091-10:00I did think of Minneapolis as one of those biker t...I did think of Minneapolis as one of those biker towns.
And you are one of those hardy souls who breeze about in the snow, no less. Minneapolis rivals Portland for bike culture. The city is always building more bike lanes and bike infrastructure, it's really great. And lest you think it all goes to waste in the winter, think again. Winter biking is a thing. I've done it myself and it is quite exhilarating riding through the snow on a dark -10F morning.Stefaniehttp://somanybooksblog.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8215036862051955994.post-12109949488188358422014-10-13T05:15:53.733-10:002014-10-13T05:15:53.733-10:00Thank you Sheila.
