I was watching CNBC with Maria Bartiromo reporting from the stock exchange. Eventually, she went outside and continued reporting what was happening huddled in a doorway somewhere nearby.<br /><br />Killing Bin Laden hasn't changed much. Our country and what it stands for is hated by all too many. Will it ever end? What will the world be like for my grandchildren? So many conflicts in every direction. I watched in disbelief.<br /><br />No need for pardon in recognizing that Bin Laden was a very smart guy - that is a fact. <br /><br />There may be some truth in what Susan Sontag said, and good reasons why the US is hated in many parts of the world. Trump is surely making it worse. All said though, I am glad that Obama was able to hunt down Bin Laden. I just hated seeing Americans on TV cheering his killing - was unseemly.
