When we finally settled it was such a gift to open the boxes marked books and once again greet long lost friends. There is no Band N where we are and I have not gotten used to my Nook. And there's a used bookstore on the other side of the island. As I noted, there's also another B&N in a mall, close enough to walk or drive to. There are only so many towns left now that have a classic Independent Bookstore, where the staff know the books, may even know you and where the quality of books is very good.
