We were there once, hoping to stay a while, but left after one day, drove around to the other side of the Island. But I'm glad you're content with your new job, amazed it's the busiest public library in the state.

I didn't get to Hawaii this year, very disappointing, hoping I'll be better next winter.

Thank you, again for writing. Once again, glad to hear from you.

Best, RichardRichard Katzevhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03466537940588392927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8215036862051955994.post-9961426058799647412016-02-02T00:02:33.150-10:002016-02-02T00:02:33.150-10:00Hi Richard,

Who needs to visit Cuba when we have sleepy Hilo.

The weather is quite warm and only occasionally rainy in my limited, one month experience. I have found wonderful accommodations, and a staff that welcomes me for the most part.

Hope you are doing well. So sorry to hear about your back pain.

Aloha nui, ShellyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8215036862051955994.post-61744998080425810922015-12-26T07:23:16.587-10:002015-12-26T07:23:16.587-10:00Yes, it is a very walkable community and most peop...Yes, it is a very walkable community and most people don't seem to mind the weather. The weather is also changing here, as elsewhere. We had a very long and dry sunny spring-summer and the winters are far less colder than they used to be. No snow anymore. Happy Holidays, Linda. In time, my back problems will fade away. Patience is advised.Richard Katzevhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03466537940588392927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8215036862051955994.post-75428871999595464442015-12-26T07:09:15.400-10:002015-12-26T07:09:15.400-10:00What a wonderful place to live - an urban walking ...What a wonderful place to live - an urban walking community, I mean.
